What to expect
At the beginning of the project you can let us know how much you want to be involved. Do you want to be part of choosing every detail or do you not want to be bothered by the small details? According to this, we will set up and schedule the project in our project management tool, Asana. This will detail every step we take, when and by whom. There will also be tasks assigned to you to give you opportunities to provide feedback and make suggestions as we go along. All communication will be managed through Asana to ensure nothing goes missing or gets confused. This way you can log in at any time and see the status of the project, read notes, answer questions and give feedback. Don’t fear, full instructions will be given at the beginning of the project. It is actually dead easy!
What we expect from you
As we go along we will need content and feedback from you from time to time. We would really appreciate it if you can stick to the timescale we both agree to at the beginning of the project. Of course there might be unavoidable situations and emergencies that might change the schedule. This is completely understandable so please discuss this with us as soon as it happens so that we can amend the timeframe.
Content can either be provided by you or you can use one of our very talented content writers. All content will be loaded into a system called Content Snare so that everyone involved in the project has easy access to it at any time.
A start date will be provided as soon as the deposit is paid. At this point we will also give you an estimate of when the project will be finished. The reason we say “estimate” is because a lot depends on how quickly you provide the content, feedback and answers to questions.
From many years of experience we realise that you might have other business matters that might take priority over this project or even private matters like holidays booked, and therefore it is important to work out a schedule that works for both of us. This will be discussed at the beginning of the project.
- 25% deposit up front to secure your starting date
- 25% installment when the project is started.
- 25% instalment when the development stage starts or three weeks after the start date of the project, whichever comes first.
- 25% balance and all other outstanding fees once the website has been tested and everyone agrees it is ready to go live, or six - - weeks after the start date of the project, whichever comes first.
