This ecommerce website was built for an NGO that teaches local people to create beautiful products aimed at tourists. As it is an NGO we had a small budget to work with but we managed to create a beautiful meaningful site which the client loves. The purpose of this website was twofold. The owners of this organisation wanted to show their beautiful products but also raise awareness for everything they stand for. We therefore had to find the balance between encouraging customers to buy and sharing valuable information. They wanted a soft and gentle look that compliments the products and the tone of how they do business. As the client has lots of international clients, we had to make provision for International shipping and we had to display the prices in whatever currency the website visitors wanted to view the products.
